What a fantastic evening!
On Saturday night, members and guests gathered at Pappagallo’s in Leederville to celebrate another year of AROCA WA and the friendships that make our club so special.
It was wonderful to see such a mix of long-standing members and newer faces enjoying the evening together.
It was particularly pleasing to see several of our earliest members in attendance, including Glen Phillips (#2), Bruce Thomas (#4), John Schoen (#5) and John Crute (#6). Their continued involvement is a reminder of the strong foundations on which our club has been built.
A special mention must also go to John Schoen, who has been a member of AROCA WA since 1977. Having John with us on the night meant a great deal to many members and was a wonderful reminder of the rich history and enduring friendships that have been part of our club for more than fifty years.
We were also delighted to welcome newer members, including Jugjit Sidhu (#987) and Malkeet, who joined us for the celebrations.
A special thank you to Andrew Murray for organising the event and to the team at Pappagallo’s for their hospitality.
During the evening we presented our annual perpetual trophies, recognising members who have made outstanding contributions to club life, motorsport participation and the spirit of AROCA WA. Congratulations once again to Enzo Simeone (Club Champion), Rachel Constable (Spirit of the Club) and Roberto Cecchele (Competition Champion) on their well-deserved recognition.
Most of all, thank you to everyone who attended.
