Saturday 15th February 2025; starting at 18:00 from the City Beach (North-Rear) Carpark
Prior to the evening run down to Coogee will meet at the North-end of the rear car park at City Beach, i.e., this is near to, but back from the beach. Your best entry into the carpark is from the beach side road. Arrive allowing enough time for a predeparture trip route discussion before the driving group leaves promptly at 6pm on the scenic route down to North Coogee where we will arrive in time to see the sun setting.
Note that sunset occurs at 19:07 on 15th February. An informal dinner will be held at the Coogee Boathouse, starting soon after 19:00. Two long tables for 30 club members have been reserved.
Coogee Boathouse is a pub restaurant on the waterfront opposite Coogee boat harbour. It serves good pub food from the bar. The restaurant is located at 3/72 Pantheon Avenue, North Coogee WA, 6163 – but an easy entry into the Coogee Boathouse is from Chieftain Avenue, opposite the boat harbour. Attendees will need to pay for their food and drinks as they go, but you should note that 30 seats have been reserved at two long tables for the WA Alfa Club group.
The first 30 members and their partners who advise Greg Smith of their attendance plans will be allocated this preferred seating. The Coogee boathouse also has outdoor seating, sometimes the venue has live music, and it serves food and drinks which are ordered at the bar.
