Concessional vehicle registration schemes are available in Western Australia. Presently, Code 404 applies to unmodified vehicles older than 25 years, while Code 350 (C4C) is designated for modified classic vehicles built before 1990, and from January 1, 2025, for vehicles older than 30 years.
Key benefits of concessional licensing include:
- Reduced registration fees
- Lower rates for compulsory third party (CTP) insurance
- Exemption from stamp duty
Common eligibility requirements are as follows:
- Continuous membership in a Department of Transport approved car club; the Alfa Romeo Owners Club WA is an approved organization.
- Residency in Western Australia
- The vehicle must be garaged within Western Australia
